Are credit card surcharges or cash incentives coming soon for airline ticket purchases?

Upgrade: Travel Better has an interesting post about how he thinks the airlines may be changing the way they accept credit cards in light of the Frontier bankruptcy.  I've posted my thoughts on the issue in the comments section of Upgrade: Travel Better's post.
